Gentle Texas Longhorn calves are a result of a breeding plan !

This is "ZEBO". He belongs to my ranchand. He is the product of Artificial Insemination(AI). He was taught at a very young age that if he would follow you, someone would sneak you cattle cubes out of their left hand, behind their back.... Here, he (as a 3 yr. old) continues to check everyones rear pocket for cattle cubes. His horns are too big for him to get too close before you realize he is there. He will also get on his knees to beg for cookies!

This is "Lefthand". He is also the product of Artificial Insemination(AI). His mother was 21 years old when he was born. She died of complications after giving birth. He was immediatly adopted and put on a bottle. The young lady who fed him was a southpaw. This young fella would refuse to eat from my right side. He would butt his head and buck around have his little temper-tantrum until the bottle was moved to my left side, (hence his name "LEFTHAND") where he would continue to have his bottle.

This is "RUSTY". He is part of Lisa and Doug Mohler's family in Minnesota. The young lady with him is his owner, Kady. She has never informed him that he is not a human. Yes, that is a pumpkin he is eating..... I never knew they would eat a pumpkin. He receives an edible treat on his birthday every year.

The new babies always receive attention. The steer is there to see what all the commotion is about, the Cow is insuring that this calf is not being mistreated..... His momma(not in picture) is confident that the calf is in good hands.
